I spend about a month in Afghanistan doing features for polish weekly "Polityka":
- Biographical material about life of Ismael Khan, at the time the largest Afghan warlord. Man whose all life was only war: Against Soviets, against Taliban, against other warlords, and finally - against army who killed his son.
- Overland journey from Herat, by Kandajar to Kabul by what remains from old "Silk road".
- With american army in Ghazni. Feature about "hunting Talibs" in eastern Afghanistan.
- Kabul - Afghan capital in days before first free presidential elections.
